Having a 3-pointed star shape, or one could even imagine the shape of a running man, the lake is particularly beautiful to observe from the top of the surrounding mountains and ridges.
Here we propose a virtual excursion to the best panoramic points overlooking the lake, to admire it from a new point of view. There is much more to Lake Como than just delicious food, cozy villages, stunning villas with their own gardens and relaxing boat rides. Let’s take a look!
Where to start our virtual tour through the scenic trails? Without doubt the best view over the central part of the lake. It is a little known point, near the top of Monte Nuvolone. It may seem modest in height compared to its neighboring mountains and the entire Alpine region, but the view over the lake is one of the most beautiful.
